Danube Women City Guide (DWCG)

In the European Danube project "Danube Women City Guide", the aim was to raise awareness of the importance of women and their life achievements along the Danube, to network women along the Danube and to strengthen new city tours for women. The project was funded by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation.

Danube Boxes “Home country – Danube country”

Getting to know each other in a creative way and thereby discovering similarities and differences is the aim of the project. The target group are people from all Danube countries, who do not know each other and who do not share a common language. The project consists of three steps: 1. Create a personal Danube Box 2. Present the box to the other participants and get conversation started in a creative way 3. Organize an event/exhibition at which the boxes can be presented

Personal TownTours (PTT)

The members of the participating groups in the partners` locations, seniors as well as younger adults, prepared 3-5 personalized Town Tours on subjects of their choice and present them to members of partner groups from other countries as well as to other local older and young people and give them an understanding of their town. Cross-national exchanges enabled the projects` learners to gain know-how in the linguistic, cultural and historical backgrounds of other project members` living environments.

Computers, Languages and Intergenerational Communication in the Kitchen (CLICK)

The project has used a simple but effective methodology of thematically based shared classes in order to help adult and senior learners to ease their way through the educational process. The methodological approach is based on four pillars: motivation, learning through acting, self-confidence and active participation of the adults all along the learning process. Many of the products of the project like project logo, recipes collection, stories, calendar, blog, pictures, videos, etc. were created by the adult learners during the actual thematically based shared classes and shared during the project meetings.

Festival of Generations (FoG)

Two editions of the "Festival of Generations" were organized and hold in Luleburgaz, Turkey and Burgas, Bulgaria. During the two day festival information on cross-border level has been exchanged about the contemporary significance of knowledge and continuity between generations, language evolution, and the positive effects of youth - elderly interaction, premieres of two cultural products of Bulgarian and Turkish students.
