Brainwriting is carried out on a reference sample group to which questions are addressed and from the answers we can know the opinion trends relative to the subject under examination. Once the answers have been obtained, graphs are produced that document the percentages relating to each individual question. This gives rise to a general and statistically based view of the problem examined.European Dimension
Brainwriting is an excellent method that allows to have statistical results on the opinion of the sample group. It is the graphic version on paper of brainstorming and is used to develop new products or to generate ideas and projects in sectors where creativity is very important, such as advertising. It is mainly used for large groups. One of the advantages of brainwriting is that it contains the opinions of all, also of the most timid and silent participants who are usually ashamed to speak.Applied in projects
Citizenship and Democracy
The Council of Europe in 2005 promoted the Year of European Citizenship with the slogan “Learning to Live Democracy”. The fight against discrimination and racism were the concept of democracy and legality, active participation emphasized. The Federuni has developed these themes and carried out a sociological research in 2010 in collaboration with the Rezzara Chair. In the present multicultural society the concept of citizenship has become tendentially contradictory and conflicting. The research has proposed to survey the territory of Bari and Vicenza (South and North) in order to assess the population (young and old) taken into consideration think about citizenship.
