International Association Danube-Networkers for Europe e.V. (DANET)
The Association Danube-Networkers for Europe (DANET) e.V. was founded in March 2014.
It is a European not-for-profit umbrella association of educational organisations and individual experts dealing with and promoting education and scientific research.
DANET is based on the educational Network Danube-Networkers which has realised several intercultural European projects along the Danube and across Europe since 2008.
The Association Danube-Networkers for Europe (DANET) e.V. was founded in March 2014.
DANET promotes exchange and common work in the following areas:
- learning and education in later life
- social participation
- dialogue and co-operation of generations
- cross-cultural dialogue in Europe and particularly in the Danube Region
DANET initiates local, regional, and transnational educational and learning activities and projects supporting the development of the EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR).
It is meant to promote new impetus to the development and implementation of common European policies on social development, social participation, learning, education and intergenerational dialogue.
