The Association “The Writers` League” Timisoara Banat Branch (LSFTB)

The Association “The Writers` League” Timisoara Banat Branch-Asociatia “Liga Scriitorilor” Filiala Timisoara Banat (LSFTB) was founded in May 2010 in Timisoara, Romania with the aim of supporting the artistic creation, expression and moral solidarity of its members. It is a professional, nongovernmental, apolitical organization, consisting of creators in the field of literature.

The target of the association is: encouragement, stimulation and promotion of literary creation by developing corresponding cultural, literary and artistic activities. LSFTB also encourages lifelong education projects by organizing cultural events focused on developing art skills, with a strong intergenerational focus.  Between the events organized by LSFTB are also European cultural tourism activities, creative literary workshops, cultural salons and art exhibitions.
